IT'S NOT ABOUT THE $$$

One of the very important things I'm learning in this journey is that money do not necessary means hapiness. Of course a falta de dinheiro can cause you a lot of sadness, trouble and you cannot afford great experiences. BUT (and I have alsways a but), a lot of money is actually something bad I think. Speacially if you dont know how to deal with it or if you care too much about it. The point is, when you have everything, is hard to find beaty in simple things, a lot of cool things are not that awesome for someone who has the opportunity to have everything, all the time.

Also, even if you have everything and do not have the right people to share the moments and news with you, all of that does not make any sense!

For example, I was in Lanzarote (Canadian Islands in Spain) in a presidencial room just for me... so what??? It was great to have that experience but I had soooooo much more fun in more simple places while I was surrowed of my friends and have much more fun! I'm not saying that my trip to Lanzarote was bad, but I'm sure you can have more fun with less than that!

So I honestly feel bad for those people who things that they have all because they are extreamelly rich... they might be very happy but not JUST because of the money.

Anyway, my point here is: is not about the money, is about how healthy you are to enjoy the good things that life can offer you to share with people that you love and people that care about you and you.

NAO JULGUE PELA APARENCIA!

Boa segunda para todos! Comecando a semana com uma simples dica/reflexao.

Aqui na Alemanha aprendi pela primeira vez com experiencia pessoal que nao devemos julgar os outros pela aparencia. Eu acho sim, que 'e muito importante voce se adequar com seus principios e ambiente em que situa, pois querendo ou nao, nossa aparencia 'e um "cartao de visita" e infelizmente  ou inevitavelmente voce passara' uma primeira impressao com o modo como se aprensenta. Isso nao significa que devemos nos preocupar em agradar os outros, mas sim agradar a nos mesmos. Eu, por exemplo, sempre achei que me vestindo mais socialmente no trabalho (quando era na IBM), me ajudava a ser mais segura e me "impor" mais nas reunioes, situacoes e decisoes a serem tomadas. Mesmo porque, eu lidava sempre com pessoas mais velhas e experientes do que eu e, querendo ou nao, o terninho social sugeria uma maturidade maior do que uma roupa mais casual (o que 'e muito comum entre os funcionarios da empresa).

No entanto, subestimar as pessoas pela aparencia e julga-las mal por nao estarem no "padrao de beleza" ou mesmo no seu estilo preferido, 'e muito perigoso, pois podemos acabar surpreendidos  e perder a chance de conhecer pessoas incriveis, como 'e o caso do talento abaixo.

So, be the change: nao julgue os outros pela aparencia.

Today I woke up in such a hangover...

I love sundays! It's good to be by myself, relax, do whatever I want and not having to worry about anything!
